We are seeking to appoint an energetic, enthusiastic and inspirational Technology Technician with a strong commitment to working with young people in an educational setting. As a Technology Technician you will support the Food & Fabric Technology/Design & Technology departments in the preparation for lessons and assist with practical lessons when required. 

Your duties will include:

  • preparing, setting up and maintaining equipment, including CAD/CAM equipment, to ensure that it is in working order to support teachers in the production of students’ work
  • preparation and clearing of practical work
  • organising, maintaining and storing stocks of resources and preparing them for lessons
  • support for teaching staff before, during and after lessons
  • general workshop maintenance
  • ensuring a safe environment
  • administrative tasks

Some general whole school support in other curriculum areas may be required.
