Kirkburton and Scissett Middle Schools are thriving, over-subscribed and highly successful schools catering for pupils between the ages of 10 and 13. Teachers in our school can really teach as pupils have outstanding behaviours, matched with a zest for learning. We are seeking to appoint a Strategic Second for English. This role represents an exciting opportunity for a professional who is passionate about English and wants to ignite that passion in young people through developing curriculum expertise across KS2 and KS3. The appointed person will be joining a team of professionals who share a passion for ensuring all children get the best educational experience both within and outside of the classroom. You will teach predominantly at Kirkburton Middle School, but will work across both sites.
