We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, compassionate and proactive Educational Support Assistants to join our friendly and forward-thinking pastoral team. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with individual pupils and small groups, supporting their academic, social and emotional development in a nurturing and inclusive school environment

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting individual pupils and small groups with learning activities.
  • Delivering interventions focused on reading, writing, mathematics and social development.
  • Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies.
  • Assisting teachers in planning, preparing and delivering learning activities.
  • Helping create an inclusive environment where every child can participate and thrive.
  • Contributing to pupil reviews, progress discussions and wider school life.
  • Supporting educational visits, enrichment activities and break/lunchtime supervision as required.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is flexible, caring and committed to supporting children.
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Works effectively as part of a team.
  • Has experience working with children or young people.
  • Has experience supporting pupils with additional learning or behavioural needs.
  • Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
